Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Installer crashed when upgrading from 10.10. Error message asked to file a bug here and include syslog and partlog. But files could not be retrieved as low disk space was reported and UI was not functional. Was able to get to view system information however, which stated that only 1.35 GB of 4.5 GB was in use. I repeated the process, but still hit the same crash. I could see the log files but could not retrieve them in either case due to instability of the UI.

Reserved space on this USB install was left at the default 128MB. I am increasing to 500MB and repeating.
