I tried to install Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS, 32-bit. The system contains Nvidia raid 0+1; which Ubiquity didn't recognice properly. Both stripes were visible as well as all partitions on both stripes. Ubiquity provided an error prompt and then crashed. I had similar problem few months back when I tried to install Ubuntu last time. I will add link to that error as well. I am suspecting both Ubiquity and dmraid about failure when trying to install to nvidia raid system (430 & 630)
Binary package hint: ubiquity
