Installer crashed

This crash went just after the start of the install system (after the new package download and hardware detection) when I was instaling ubuntu 6.10 on my laptop Asus A8JM (realtek gigabit lan card correctly recognized)

Thanks for your report. This is also bug 62939 (see that bug for a description of the problem) and is fixed in current Edgy.
