Bug Description
Binary package hint: indicator-session
Ubiquity 2.3.4 includes support for showing a few indicators in it's own new panel natively. On desktops that don't normally use indicators however, this doesn't seem to work properly because the indicators aren't installed. Installing indicator-session fixes the panel, however it has some very hefty recommends of indicator-applet (which pulls in way more).
Can we please drop the recommends on indicator-applet so that ubiquity's GTK frontend can depends indicator-session?

Thank you for your bug report, the recommends has a | indicator-renderer for the cases you want another container, unity provides it, you should probably get ubiquity or your new bar code to do the same
