Bug Description
I wish I could help with this, but I have no idea what went wrong. I am using a recently factory refurbished Toshiba Portege S100-S1132. I got to the very end of the installer (92% completion, when the installer is trying to configure the boot loader) and then it crashed. Good luck, and thanks!

Thanks for your report. Due to some reliability problems with GRUB and XFS, you need to use a non-XFS root filesystem or create a non-XFS /boot filesystem. The fact that the partitioner doesn't warn you about this up-front is also bug 47848, and is fixed in 6.06.1.
