The log is attached. This is an amd64 beta1 desktop versiom started from USB flash (md5 sums checked). I just think the log is not verbose enough to get anything out of it.

I also tried alternate install but I had problems with partitioning my RAID1 (will have to write down the errors and report it later). 9.10 went through this smoothly.
