ansoncheung, you were installing in Chinese, right? Your bug (discovered independently during testing) was the showstopper that prompted rebuilding the Dapper release CD images early yesterday morning, and so I'm reasonably confident that it's fixed in the final Dapper release. Would you mind testing that to confirm this?
Yes, you must format the target / partition, but that is not the problem you (ansoncheung) were suffering from.
