Binary package hint: ubiquity
Using the 20091027 image of karmic-netbook-remix-i386.iso, running the installer during a live session installs everything ok, but the popup window signalling installation finished appears behind netbook-launcher and nothing is shown on the taskbar. Pressing <ctrl><tab> brings the window to the foreground.
Not sure if this is an ubiquity issue or a netbook launcher issue. Filing against both.

Proposed release note:
The confirmation of a successful Ubuntu Netbook Remix installation might be hidden in some cases; the popup window offering to reboot is just minimised, you may click on it in the list of windows in the top panel or press Alt-Tab until you switch to it. See Bug:462178. |
