Evan,

I downloaded 9.10 Beta on October 13. I'll download another build this evening and try it.
I'm a Linux newbie, so I want a little more information.

(1) I'm assuming an infinite loop will not occur because debug mode is enabled.
(2) Shall I expect to use the pause key if messages fill the screen? Will the application respond to a pause keystroke in the post-install phase?
(3) Will I be able to use (shift)-Print Screen?

Doug

Does this occur with the absolute latest daily-live CD
(http://cdimage.ubuntu.com)?  If so, please boot with the upstart debug
option.  Select your language at the CD boot menu, then press F6
followed by escape to bring up the kernel command line.  Enter --debug
just before the -- mark, so the line looks something like "...quiet
splash --debug --", then press enter to boot.  Take a picture of, or
record on paper, the messages that appear at the end of shutdown.

Thanks!
