Even in 800x600 it's tricky to install ubuntu (7.04). Panel and windows list have to be moved on the right and left side.

One solution could be to provide a virtual screen, but the installer should be usable at least at a 800x600 resolution.

Please consider this bug as critical as it cause Ubuntu to not install at all.
