Comment 6 for bug 291287

I have no idea if this problem still occurs with 8.10. I was using 32 bit at the time. Looks like lots of people had this bug (from duplicates).
I eventually did install 8.10. I can barely remember this bug. Although I did have problems installing 9.04 (crash near end of installer). But eventually it stopped crashing to install it on 3rd try. I probably did file a bug, but for some reason launchpad doesn't show it or even this bug on my personal page.
I am now using 9.04.
