I'm having the same issue. System setup
Trying to install 9.04 amd64 from livecd onto nvraid, raid0.
Root partition is ext4 and home partition is xfs on the same disk within an extended partition.

Ubiquity seems to crash after the "scanning the mirror" section of the install.
