Comment 7 for bug 193986

I am the author of the remastersys script and I have narrowed this down to the popularity-contest package - as far as remasters go anyway.

It seems that trying to reconfigure popularity-contest causes this to hang which is what is happening at 94%. I've looked through Ubiquity and according to syslog, this is where it is hanging. Sometimes it hangs for 5 minutes and sometimes it is longer.
