Xubuntu groovy/20.10 qa-test install on
hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
install was "install alongside" (existing was a prior ubuntu-studio qa-test install)
drive is 80gb internal, I moved slider so 5/8ths was studio, 3/8ths for new xubuntu

** What happened
During install a message appeared

"Sorry, an error occurred and it was not possible to install the bootloader at the specified location."

I selected SDA again & error again repeated. No other option (sda1 etc) seemed to apply so I aborted install & reported error (it failed to report anything, but `ubuntu-bug` is having issues so this was filed on another box; and I'll apport-collect shortly on actual box)

** Expected outcome
It wouldn't ask the question, or install to /dev/sda (there is only a single drive to install to)

Further Notes: If ubiquity log is larger than just one install, I attempted first time with an external drive connected, but was unable to complete test as it wouldn't let me select internal drive. I exited `ubiquity` and tried ejecting drive, when that failed I just pulled power cable of external drive, made a few checks & it appeared removed & no issues on system, so I restarted `ubiquity` using desktop icon. This run only appeared to see internal drive so I didn't expect issues.
