Interesting that you had it in Kubuntu after upgrading to 18.04, because it does not affect my fresh install of Kubuntu Bionic (18.04). Maybe there was a leftover 'resume' file from 17.10, and you converted to using a swapfile.

Anyway we are looking forward to the next daily iso files, where Simon's fix should squash the bug.
