The installer worked all the way (I used 'Something else' and installed into an old partition.)

At the end I had to reboot with SysRq REISUB, but that is another problem (I think a race condition, that was gone for some year, but reappeared during the development of Bionic).
I tested 'Install Lubuntu' with the current daily iso file
bionic- desktop- amd64.iso (dated April 20)
in my Toshiba laptop
