Simple workaround from comment #22 works.
For clarity, let me just add that you DON'T need to press the "Install now" button while the "guided partitioning" option is selected. Don't do this or you'll lose data, as others have pointed out. Simply type the decryption password twice and then switch to "Manual", and only then continue to the next screen.
