When performing an upgrade from Xubuntu 12.10 to the 20130311 build of Xubuntu 13.04, The "Create User" page is shown. Is it necessary to create a new user when performing an OS upgrade? Should this dialog be shown?
Entering the same username and password as what is currently on the system works. |
When performing an upgrade from the "image" (boot up the ISO) to Xubuntu 13.04, the installer prompts to create a new user.
Is this expected behaviour when performing an OS upgrade? Shouldn't the installer simply keep existing users?
