Still present in Ubuntu 17.10 desktop and netboot installer.

Don't know if this fixes for the desktop installer, but it did for the netboot: https://blog.hartwork.org/?p=1765

I saw the passphrase during disk setup so I was sure that it was correct German keyboard layout.

After installation the initrd's keyboard is in US layout while it asks for the passphrase.

Setting KEYMAP=Y in initramfs.conf + update-initramfs didn't help.

Glad I don't have to reinstall.
