I saw the passphrase during disk setup so I was sure that it was correct German keyboard layout.
After installation the initrd's keyboard is in US layout while it asks for the passphrase.
Setting KEYMAP=Y in initramfs.conf + update-initramfs didn't help.
Glad I don't have to reinstall.
