The password works in the text consoles (Ctrl - Alt - F1 oder Ctrl - Alt - F2 ...). That means, in the text consoles is the correct keyboard layout activated. Only the graphical login worked always with US keyboard layout. I tried also XDM as graphical login screen, but it was still the US keyboard layout. I tried an other distribution (Linux Mint Debian Edition) --> same bug.
This bug became a bug for the lightdm-gtk-greeter package, but I thats this is wrong (XDM). I also think it's not a problem of the install process (console-Login + other distribution). Maybe it is a problem of the X-Server.
