Well, I have none of that text output in #1066347 since I'm using the GUI installer, but I saw this message today while reinstalling 14.04 today. I guess it's not a duplicate, since that one was allegedly fixed in 12.10. The message is almost completely useless since it doesn't tell me (a) which applications failed to install, and (b) why.
