Aaron, you can use Remmina from PPA. Since it works on FreeRDP (not rdesktop) and it solves most of annoying rdesktop/tsclient bugs and lacks.

add repo by this command: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:llyzs/ppa
then install new remmina by: sudo aptitude install remmina
