Also notice that the startup script is not up to date, so systemd fails to disable it:

$ sudo systemctl disable wesnoth-1.12-server.service
Synchronizing state of wesnoth-1.12-server.service with SysV init with /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install...
Executing /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install disable wesnoth-1.12-server
update-rc.d: error: wesnoth-1.12-server Default-Start contains no runlevels, aborting.
