Comment 19 for bug 348885

I'm running Tracker 0.6.92 and this is still happening after bringing Jaunty to the most recent update status (4/5/09 9:13 AM pacific time). It affects both my 64 bit Jaunty on my T61 and my wife's 32 bit on a core solo compaq laptop.
Both laptops get so hot, you cannot put them on your lap anymore. I thought my fan was gone... My wife noticed it first because everything gets quite slow on the core solo but since I have a core 2 duo CPU it only freezes one.
