Ah, thanks for finding what was causing this one (x64 9.10 upgraded from 9.04) - it really should have been fixed before release.
If anyone needs hand-holding to find the setting, it's Totem aka Media Player / Preferences / Display / Hue slider - set to the middle, or just press 'reset to defaults'.
