It must be a Totem issue, but DVD playback is undergoing a major rewrite, and this problem is likely to be fixed in Intrepid, or will be very soon in the next release. We would appreciate if you can test it in Jaunty, then we'll investigate it. Fixing bugs about DVD playback in Hardy won't be done, sadly. Thanks for your report!
