I can confirm that this bug exists in F20 and Blonďák's patch resolves the issue.

The bug was reported upstream as
  Totem plugin: DVB not working due to problem in dvb-daemon.py
  https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709483
but does not have any "official" solution though another reporter indicated that commenting line 461 removes the bug as well.

The upstream git repository does not have any official bug fix (watch_item line is unchanged since 2009 / git revision 8aafc4f8).
