Thank you for taking your time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please provide the following information:

1) which release of Ubuntu you are using
2) which version of the package you are using
3) is there any output if you run rhythmbox from a terminal? If so, please add it here, too.
4) are there any recent crash reports for rhythmbox in /var/crash? If so, please report them via apport and post the new bug ID here
