Comment 2 for bug 1258487

Please add back the package as there are third party packages like canon printer/scanner driver packages with dependencies on tiff3 - see Bug #1271714
The solution to rebuild those drivers against current libtiff-dev is beyound my knowledge but I will try my best if it is not possible to add back this package.
