The patch has landed on the current Thunderbird trunk (or Thunderbird 12); Thunderbird 12 itself should be released around May 1 if I have my schedules correct (12 weeks after the next uplift, on January 31).

That said, I am planning on requesting that this be backported to all of the branches given the severity of the bug; thus, most users should see this fixed by around January 31 at the latest.
