Would you mind taking a look in to this? This still looks to be a problem because the "account settings" dialog on my machine takes up almost all the vertical real estate and I have a pretty generous resolution compared to most laptops out there. It looks like there are some patches in the upstream mozilla bugzilla that may help alleviate this problem.
