bienvenu, you'll probably want to look at this crash report. It looks like nsMsgCompressIStream has gone off the rails and just spends its entire life being spoon fed the byte 0xfa which presumably causes it/zlib to think there is still more work to do. Unfortunately, it's not immediately obvious (to me) from the crash who keeps posting events to the main thread that keeps it alive, but I would assume it's related.
