Are we sure the problem is related to IDLE flag updates? Why do other IMAP clients detect deletions almost instantaneously?
I have Thunderbird 24.1.0 and K9Mail on android both connected to the same IMAP account on Zimbra 8.
If I delete a message on Thunderbird I see the action on the phone in 2-3 seconds.
If I delete a message on the phone, i never see the message disappear on Thunderbird.
Going to offline mode and back doesn't seem to do it for me.
