Are there any plans to include this in Thunderbird 3? I just got a request from a current Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 user who would really like this feature. He's using mailing lists extensively and also uses the above cited extension, which works fine for him.

I also found myself needing this feature quite a couple of times already, so would welcome it myself!
