Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Just upgraded to 9.10 and ever since thunderbird crashes with a segmentation fault if I hover the mouse over any of the menu bar items or hit alt + file menu letter. I can avoid it by not doing any of the above but it means I cannot use any of the menu bar items like File, Edit, View etc.

I tried running it with the -safe-mode but it makes no difference.

In case it helps:

I did:

cd .mozilla-thunderbird/hwix77fo.default
> prefs.js

then started thunderbird again. It asked to create a new account and I cancelled and exited that. It still crashes when going near the menu bar.
