Comment 57 for bug 357864

Would someone please add this feature to Mozilla! I, too, have my own domain
and use the <email address hidden> trick. Creating multiple accounts
is NOT an option. What I want is exactly what this bug is about: being able to
manually specify the contents of the From: line during message composition.

I find it absurd that so many other mail apps, including some really puny ones,
can do this, but Mozilla can't.

It's too bad Mozilla doesn't support out-going message filters. Then I could at
least write a message filter that replaces the From: line with the contents of
the Reply-To line. That would be an acceptable work-around.
