Comment 70 for bug 297301

It doesn't look like this is back to beta b1 behavior. It's still forgetting passwords. This is what I'm observing:

1. "Enter your password:" prompt appears and is filled in, but "Use Password Manager to remember this password" is not checked (but it should be).

2. Now since I know there is an error and hitting OK would require me to do so ad infinitum, I click Cancel. Next time I try check email, the "Enter your password:" prompt appears and the password has been FORGOTTEN.

3. If I try again from Step 1 (above) but this time check "Use Password Manager to remember this password" before clicking Cancel, the password is still FORGOTTEN next time "Enter your password:" appears.

So "Use Password Manager to remember this password" must be automatically checked for this to work properly.
