Comment 22 for bug 275471

I too can confirm this bug. I have some large pdf attachments in e-mails within an IMAP e-mail account that are doing the same thing, tried countermeasures listed here to no avail. Since one of them is 24 Mb, it is...distressing...to be unable to view the text from the e-mail without waiting a long time, and then have to wait a long time again in order to download the pdf. Never had this problem in Outlook, just changed over to Thunderbird.
