BEHAVIOR
With Thunderbird in the Ubuntu Dock favorites, a counter will appear in the top-right showing the number of unread emails or new email notifications. After reading some of those emails, the counter in the top-right doesn't immediately go down. After about three or four minutes, it updates.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
For the counter to more responsively reflect the updated amount of unread emails.
