Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

All i need to do is click any mail in the Inbox. Sometimes thunderbird just freezes and exits after ~20 seconds, but most of the time it just segfaults immediately.
This doesn't happen with the x86 build from the official thunderbird site.

similar problem to above.

often triggered by a kernel update (or other set of updates initiated via adept / update manager.
can clear the problem by requesting re-install of thunderbird (and en-locale and gnome support)
get the problem under both gnome & KDE.

This has been happening through the beta period (no knowledge of alpha - only ran tribe3-5 as live CD)
