Bug Description
This is similar to bug #643280 and bug #917069, but not the same in that I get a warning message saying that Thunderbird can allow the configuration but I should contact the administrator. The warning box gives two options only - 'Change Settings' and 'Done', but the latter is greyed out so I cannot procede. The server I am setting up is at crosswire.org, and is working perfectly well on another machine using the same settings I am now using, so obviously Thunderbird used to allow me to use this server in an earlier release - we are talking maybe two years ago though.

I tried launching thunderbird as root (gksudo thunderbird) and got exactly the same messages.
