TB 45.6.0 high CPU load when connecting to unreachable IMAP server

Here is the requested performance profile with TB 45.6.0 on a Mac.
(The setup for getting it was a bit involved, using both FF and TB, but ok.)

Note that anyone can easily reproduce this CPU misuse:
Just set the IMAP Server Name of some account to an unreachable IP address like 1.2.3.4 and try getting emails from there.

This bug is apparently very low-level in the Mozilla network layer and has a number of related bug reports touched again recently also for FF.
