I totally want this feature. I keep on getting crappy HTML-format messages with
tiny fonts and bad colors. I expect that when I change the format to "plain
text" that Thunderbird should convert the message right away. Right now it just
hides the HTML toolbar (like you mentioned above) but this is useless to me. I
want the message converted immediately when I change to plain text.
