Randomly but in most cases contextmenu won't show unless right mousebutton is kept pressed down.

This bug appeared in Linux Mint 15 (Olivia) Xfce version, with Thunar 1.6.2.

This bug looks similar with this (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunar/+bug/127372) but is different by the fact that:

- the file named ".gtkrc-2.0" already existed in ~/

- it contained no line "gtk-menu-popup-delay = " - with any value: that line was absent altogether

- the bug appears with all themes; none contains the line in their gtk-2.0/gtkrc file, except one: Mint-X. But that line ("gtk-menu-popup-delay = 1") is commented. (#)

(The file "/usr/share/themes/Default/gtk-2.0-key/gtkrc" from the default theme contains only this line: "# Default keybinding set. Empty because it is implemented inline in the code.")

The bug consists in the context menu being absent when just right-clicking. It always appears if the right mouse is pressed (held) longer than for a normal click. Sometimes the menu appears after multiple clicks. This affects right-clicking on the desktop, on files and folders, but also in Firefox when right-clicking links, selected text, tabs etc.

This issue hasn't been reported since 2014 and Thunar is now GTK3. Marking as resolved. Please reopen if you are still able to reproduce on 20.04, 21.10, or 22.04. Thanks!
