That's the same problem. *Conceptually*, pam-mount or any other encrypting method cannot read something encrypted without the authentication mechanism providing a secret *that isn't stored on the computer*. So the authentication device must store the password in some hard-to-read place itself for this to work, and I don't think it's the case ATM.
