apt-get -y purge tex-common # you may even have to dpkg -fP tex-common, if
that works didn't check the syntax now
dpkg --configure -a
apt-get -f install
apt-get -y dist-upgrade

apt-get -y purge tex-common # you may even have to dpkg -fP tex-common, if
