Bug Description

Binary package hint: texlive-binaries

While upgrading from Kubuntu 9.10 to 10.04, the Error panel popped up.

error text: Could not install 'texlive-binaries'
message: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

the panel suggested I submit an error report, so I did.

After a restart of the computer everything seems fine.
I have checked the status of the reported package and it is installed.
So I do not know why an error was reported.

Probably, this one should be merged into Bug 573214. I posted it later, turns out to be rooted in the same problem as this one, and it has more details now.
