Bug Description

Binary package hint: tex-common

Upgrade to lucid, in the process tex-comon with saying that fmtutil-sys -a failed
Running it manually ended with

  181 for language 0
0 words of pdfTeX memory
0 indirect objects
No pages of output.
Transcript written on pdflatex.log.
fmtutil: /var/lib/texmf/web2c/pdftex/pdflatex.fmt installed.
fmtutil: running `mpost -ini -jobname=mfplain -progname=mfplain mfplain.ini' ...
Memory size overflow!
Error: `mpost -ini -jobname=mfplain -progname=mfplain mfplain.ini' failed
mv: cannot stat `mfplain.log': No such file or directory
