Bug Description
Since the last empathy upgrade, I no longer get any indications that someone is talking to me in a chat window.
In 11.04, the messaging menu would turn blue, which was great and obvious. In 11.10, it was replaced with the almost unnoticeable arrow next to the empathy icon on the launcher turning blue, which felt like a big regression (missed people replying a lot, I have sounds disabled), but now, I get nothing. Nothing turns blue, replies go completely unnoticed.

I suspect this is a design issue, but it may be a bug. Assinged to Dx to take a look.
