You probably have a different problem than the O.P. Please post a bug on bugs.kde.org and assign me to it (and then put the URL here for refrence).
FWIW, I won't be able to help you much until you narrow down if it's a file causing your crash or Amarok. A good backtrace from Amarok will help; even better is scanning your collection on the command line via amarokcollectionscanner and seeing if you can reproduce the problem.
